Abstrak Taro is a type of tuber that has many benefits for the human body. In addition, taro is already widely known by the public, but not as popular as other types of tubers. One of the production houses that processes taro into chips is Lecker Jaya Waluyo which is located in Palu. This study aims to determine the amount of added value of taro after being processed into taro chips. The analysis used the analysis of added value with the hayami method and respondents who were taken purposively. Respondents taken in this study consisted of 1 leader and 2 production employees. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the production of taro chips during April used 300 kg of taro and produced 140 kg of taro chips with an added value of Rp30,941/Kg, with a profit of Rp29,888.25/Kg or 96.59% which means that the level of profit obtained at the Lecker Jaya Waluyo production house from taro chip products increases the economic growth of the production house so that it can be concluded that in the production of taro into taro chips there is added value. |
