Abstrak
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the production risk and uncertainty of the price of shallots in Oloboju Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. This research was carried out in Oloboju Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. The research location was determined purposively with the consideration that the farmers in Oloboju Village, Sigi Biromaru District, were cultivating shallots. Determination of respondents is done by simple random sampling method, determining respondents using the Slovin formula. with a sample size of 30 respondents. The analytical method used is qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion of the risk of palu shallot farming production before the earthquake and after the earthquake in the village of Oloboju is relatively low because it is less than 1 (100%). Determination of risk aversion parameters K (S) produces palu shallot farmers before the earthquake and after the earthquake behaves risk averter (1.2 ? K (S) ? 2.0) rejects the risk of palu shallots. The behavior of shallot palu farmers to avoid risk is based on the fear of farmers in facing the risk of high crop failure and fluctuations in the price of palu shallots caused by several uncertainty factors such as pests and plant diseases, natural disasters, and transition climate. Uncertainty of the price of palu shallots is caused by the amount of production of onion palu offered more then the price in the market will fall, whereas if the production of palu shallots, the price in the market will be high. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko produksi dan ketidakpastian dari harga bawang merah di Desa Oloboju Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru Kabupaten Sigi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Oloboju Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru Kabupaten Sigi. Lokasi penelitian ditetapkan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa petani di Desa Oloboju Kecamatan Sigi Biromaru bercocok tanam bawang merah. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan metode penarikan sampel acak secara sederhana, penetuan responden menggunakan rumus slovin. dengan besarnya sampel adalah sebanyak 30 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan risiko produksi usahatani bawang merah palu sebelum gempa maupun sesudah gempa di Desa Oloboju tergolong rendah karena kurang dari 1 (100%). Penentuan parameter keengganan risiko K(S) menghasilkan petani bawang merah palu sebelum gempa maupun sesudah gempa berperilaku risk averter (1,2 ? K(S) ? 2,0) menolak terjadinya risiko bawang merah palu. Perilaku petani bawang merah palu menghindari risiko didasari oleh takutnya petani dalam menghadapi risiko gagal panen yang tinggi dan fluktuasi harga bawang merah palu yang disebabkan beberapa faktor ketidakpastian yaitu serangan hama dan penyakit tanaman, bencana alam, dan iklim pancaroba. Ketidakpastian harga bawang merah palu disebabkan oleh jumlah produksi bawang merah palu yang ditawarkan lebih maka harga di pasar akan turun, sedangkan jika produksi bawang merah palu sedikit maka harga di pasar akan tinggi.
