Abstrak ABSTRACT Plantation crops have a significant contribution in the formation of Tolitoli Regency GRDP. This situation shows that the estate crops sub-sector still plays an important role in the economy of the Tolitoli Regency, therefore this research can be used as a material for planning and evaluation of development that makes it easy for the government to determine the development policies of the Tolitoli Regency. This study aims to determine the basic commodities and non-base subsector of estate crops in Tolitoli Regency and the change in the role of estate crop sub-sector commodities in the future. This study uses the Location Quotient (LQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) methods. This research was conducted in November 2019. The results this study use secondary, namely obtained from books, journals and obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Sulawesi Province and the Central Statistics Agency of Tolitoli Regency in 2013-2017. The results of the LQ analysis show that the clove, nutmeg and pepper commodities are basic / superior commodities while coconut, cocoa and coffee commodities are non-base / non-commodity commodities in the plantation sector in Tolitoli Regency. Based on DLQ analysis shows that clove, pepper and nutmeg commodities have changed the role of basic commodities to become non-base in the future. While cocoa is a non-base commodity and is expected to become a basic commodity in the future. On the other hand, coconut and coffee are non-base commodities and remain non-base commodities in the future. cacao has also experienced a change in role from basic commodities to non-base in the future. Pepper commodity is a basic commodity now and will remain a base commodity in the future. keywords: Location Quotient Community Based Subsector Plantation Bprb, Production |
