| Abstrak The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tofu price, tempe price, consumer income, and the number of dependents of consumers’ families on tofu demand in the Afifah Tofu Industry in Palu City. Respondents numbered 30 people, respondents set in this study are consumers who buy tofu in the Afifah Tofu Industry for self and family consumption. The analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the Factors Affecting Tofu Demand (Case Study of Afifah Tofu Industry) in Nunu Sub-District, West Palu District partially from the four variables used were tofu price, tempe price, consumer income, and the number of dependents of the consumers’s family dependents have a significant effect, while tempe prices and consumer incomes have no significant effect on the demand for tofu in the Afifah Tofu Industry in Nunu Village, West Palu District. R2 calculation results explain that the tofu demand variable in in the Afifah Tofu Industry in Nunu Village, Palu District is influenced by the tofu price, tempe price, consumer income, and the number of dependents of the consumer’s family by 0,551 or 55.1% while the rest are variables not included into the equation. |
