Abstrak Especially in Palu Valley, which is a center for developing superior commodities, the local shallot of Palu (the raw material for making fried onions) has land that has the potential to develop the Palu Valley shallot. For this reason, the role of agro-industry is needed in an effort to maintain primary agricultural products into processed products to increase added value. One such effort is the processing of the Palu valley shallots into fried onions at the Salhan Industry. This study aims to determine the added value obtained from processing the Palu valley shallots into fried onions, which are carried out in the Salhan Industry. Respondents in this study were one company leader, one production employee, and two marketing employees. The results of this study indicate that the added value obtained from processed shallots to fried onions in the Salhan Industry is Rp.10,378 / kg of raw materials, with a profit of Rp. 8.044,648. The amount of profit is influenced by the amount of added value, the greater the added value, the greater profits the company will get, while the added value of fried onion production is influenced by the value of output, the price of raw materials, and the value of other input contributions. |
