| Abstrak The problem faced by rice farmers is the use of existing production factors and applies so far based on hereditary habits. For example seeds, farmers provide their own from previous harvests to be planted in the next planting season. This has an impact on rice growth so that the yields are not simultaneous, the resulting quality is low and the plants do not have resistance to the influence of pests and diseases. Another problem is fertilizer caused by delays in shipping from the government regarding yields, which is followed by frequent scarcity of fertilizers. This increases the production of lowland rice produced become not optimal. This study aims to determine the influence of land area, seeds, fertilizer, labor and pesticides as well as the influence factors of production lowland rice farming. This research was conducted in Sampeantaba Village, Wita Ponda Subdistrict, Morowali Regency from June to August 2019. Respondents were determined using simple random sampling, where 33 farmer respondents selected from a population of 125 farmers. The analytical tool used is the Cobb-Douglass production function . The results show that simultaneously and partially all production factors used which are the area of land, seeds, fertilizer, labor, and pesticides, affected significantly the production and income of lowland rice in the research area in the Sampeantaba Village, Wita Ponda District, Morowali Regency. |
