| Abstrak This study aims to determine the factors that influence the demand for cayenne pepper including the influence of the price of cayenne pepper itself, consumer income, the number of family dependents and consumer tastes. This research was conducted in April to May 2019 at the Manonda Inpres Market in Palu City. The data used is time series data with data analysis used namely Multiple Linear Regression Analysis which is transformed into Natural Logarithmic form. The analysis shows that the value of R2 is 0.889 or 88.9%, the results of the F test show that the significant value (0,000) <? (0.05) means that together prices of cayenne pepper (X1), consumer income (X2), total family dependents (X3) and consumer tastes (D) have a significant effect on the demand for cayenne pepper in the city of Palu. T test results, indicate individually the price of cayenne pepper (X1), the number of family dependents (X3) and consumer tastes (D) significantly influence the demand for cayenne pepper in Palu City, while the consumer income variable (X2) does not significantly influence significant to the demand for cayenne pepper in the city of Palu. |
