Abstrak Fried onion production UD. HJ. Mbok Sri was one of the pioneers of the firs fried onions in the city of Palu because her business had been established since 1980. Its products have also been of interest to some consumers because of their distictive taste. However there are several problems faced by the local fried onion industry / company, Palu including : 1) difficulties in obtaining quality raw materials 2) sustainable quantity 3)ineffective promotion. These difficulties indirectly impact business development. The purpuse of this study is to determine the fried onion business development strategy in the UD. HJ. Mbok sri in Palu City. This research was conducted from November to Desember 2019. The deternmination of respondents consistingof 1 leader, 1 employee, and 4 costumers. The analisis used in this research is SWOT analysis. The results of the swot analysis show that the strategic positions that can be appiled for the development of the fried onion business at UD. HJ. Mbok Sri namely using the S-T strategy where the UD. HJ. Mbok Sri already has strenght that can be developed. a.) the existence of active capital can maintain and improve the quality of fried onion products b.) utilize the skills possessed by the company in the fried onion productions process. The lenght of business expirience can also be utilized to be able to compete in expanding market share. |
