Abstrak
ABSTRACT Hybrid maize is an agricultural commodity that is encouraged by hybrid maize farmers in Tang Village. This study aims to analize the marketing of hybrid maize in each marketing channel of hybrid maize from Tang Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency. The research was conducted in December 2019–February 2020. The data collected related to the marketing of hybrid maize from Tang Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency is data in one harvest season (June–October 2019). The determination of respondents in this study was selected using a simple random sampling method (simple random sampling), the number of respondents was 32 from 121 populations. Determining the number of samples in this study using the Slovin formula with an error rate (e) of 0.15 (15%). The analysis used is the analysis of marketing channel, the price section, marketing margin, total margin, marketing efficiency. The results showed two types of marketing channels, namely the first marketing channel : Farmers Collectors Wholesalers Consumers. Second marketing channel: Farmer Wholesaler Consumer. The share of the price received by farmers from the first channel was 78.57%, while in the second channel is was 88.10%. The marketing margin obtained from the first channel is Rp.900 and the marketing margin from the second channel is Rp.500. The marketing efficiency value obtained in the first line was 11,71% and for the second marketing channel the marketing efficiency value was 11,02%. Thus it can be concluded that the shorter the marketing channel, the greater the portion of the price received by farmers and vice versa and the longer the marketing channel greater the marketing margin will be and vice versa.
