Abstrak
Bokashi fertilizer is a fertilizer made from organic materials derived from plants and animals that have undergone engineering in solid or liquid form needed to supply organic materials. Sweet corn is one of the most widely consumed food crops or used as industrial raw materials. This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of bokashi fertilizer on Potassium absorption in sweet corn plants (Zea mays saccarata). And to determine the growth response of sweet corn plants (Zea mays saccarata). to the administration of various doses of bokashi fertilizer. This study was conducted at the Screen House of the Academic Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, from July to December 2024, using an experimental method with a one-factor randomized block design consisting of 6 treatment levels and each treatment was repeated 4 times. The levels used are as follows: P0 = 0 tons/ha (0 g/15 kg soil), P1 = 30 tons/ha (0.12 g/15 kg soil), P2 = 60 tons/ha (0.24 g/15 kg soil), P3 = 90 tons/ha (0.36 g/15 kg soil), P4 = 120 tons/ha (0.48 g/15 kg soil), P5 = 132 tons/ha (0.60 g/15 kg soil). The results of the study showed that the application of bokashi fertilizer with various doses to sweet corn plants did not have an effect on increasing potassium absorption. However, the application of bokashi fertilizer can improve soil chemical properties, such as C-organic content and soil pH. Bokashi fertilization on sweet corn plants (Zea mays saccharata) has a significant effect on increasing plant height and number of leaves
