Abstrak M. Malik Fajar (E 281 20 319) Increasing the Growth and Yield of Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) Poso and Banggai Laut through Fertilization Based on Recommendations from the UNTAD Faperta Lab and Balitbu Solok, (supervised by Enny Adelina and Yohanis Tambing, 2024). Mangosteen plants (Garcinia mangostana L.) are spread throughout almost all the islands in Indonesia. Most of the mangosteen fruit exported comes from people's gardens, home gardens, or mixed crops. Exported mangosteen fruit generally comes from South Tapanuli Regency, Limapuluh Kota, Padang Pariaman, Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Sukabumi and Purwakarta. Mangosteen is nicknamed the Finest Fruit of the Tropics and Queen of Fruits. This research aims to examine the interaction of fertilizer recommendations and accessions on the growth and production of mangosteen, examine fertilizer recommendations on the growth and production of mangosteen plants, examine the effect of mangosteen accessions on the growth and production of mangosteen plants. This research has been carried out on mangosteen plantations in Poso Regency, District. Pamona (01?45'16.65”S and 120? 38'21.16”E) height 532 meters above sea level and Banggai Laut Regency, Timbong District (08'25.76''S and 120o 05'41.39''E) 587 meters above sea level from June to November 2023. This research was structured using a serial randomized block design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor is mangosteen accession, namely A1: Poso District and A2: Balut District. The second factor is fertilizer recommendations which consist of three recommendations, namely: P0: No fertilization (Control), P1: Fertilizer based on Faperta recommendations and P2: Fertilizer based on recommendations from Balitbuah Solok. So there are 6 treatment combinations repeated 5 times, so 30 experimental units are obtained. The research results showed that mangosteen accessions fertilized using fertilizer recommendations gave the best results on growth and production variables. Poso mangosteen accessions that were fertilized using Balitbu Solok recommendations gave an increase in plant height of 12.20 cm, Poso mangosteen accessions that were fertilized based on Faperta recommendations showed fruit production of 1.90 kg/tree, fruit weight 45.29 g, fruit height 11.9 cm. The Balut mangosteen accession which was given fertilization based on Faperta's recommendations gave increased results: plant stem diameter 5.20 cm, plant canopy 217.8 cm, stamina triangle area 471.8 cm2 and branch length 26.20 cm, Balut mangosteen accession given fertilization based on Faperta recommendations show a fruit diameter of 72.08 cm |
