| Abstrak This research aims to determine the physical properties of the soil and describe the relationship between several physical properties of the soil of clove plantations (Syzygium aromaticum) at certain altitudes. This research was carried out from January to February 2024. Soil survey were carried out based on the stratified purposive sampling method on clove plantations at several altitudes 50 masl-<550 masl. Sampling of disturbed and undisturbed soil was carried out at 3 altitude points observation which was repeated 3 times. Soil analysis was carried out in the laboratory of the soil science department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, which included observations of texture, organic matter, bulk density, permeability and soil penetration. The results of the research show that the physical properties of the soil in Matansala Village, clove plantations (Syzygium aromaticum) at several altitudes, have different a soil texture dominated by the clay fraction, contain higher criteria for organic matter, light to heavy soil density, slow to medium permeability and resistance and the lower and medium soil penetration criteria. The relationship between several physical properties of land in the research area was linear with a very low-very strong relationship. |
