Abstrak This research was carried out at the Skrein House BPDAS, Tadulako University, Central Sulawesi. This research aims to determine the composition of the biocar media which can influence the physical properties of the soil and its influence on the growth of ebony seedlings. The research was structured using a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 5 treatments, namely P0=Control, P1=25% Soil+biochar, P2=50% Soil+biochar, P3=75% Soil+biochar, P4=Soil+ biochar as much as 100% with 4 replications as a group. The results of the research show that soil texture analysis has criteria for soil texture dominated by clayey clay. The average value of bulk density in treatment P0 is 1.17 g/cm3 which has high criteria, treatments P1 and P2 have light criteria, treatments P3 and P4 have very light criteria, soil bulk density values tend to be high in treatment P0. The percentage of good porosity values is found in treatments P0 and P1. Then the percentage of Porous porosity values is found in treatments P2, P3, and P4. The average plant height in treatment P4 produced the highest value at all ages of ebony seedlings. The average number of leaves increased every week at various ratios of rice husk biochar. The highest number of leaves was found at 12 WAP, while the lowest was at 4 WAP. The average dry weight value of the heaviest plants for ebony seedlings treated with P4 with rice husk media was in a ratio of 1:1. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that, the provision of rice husk biochar to each treatment was not significantly different to all growth parameters of ebony seedlings in the field.
