Abstrak
ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the distribution of phosphorus (P) at different depths in cocoa fields. This research was carried out at the Research and Assessment Installation of Agricultural Technology (IP2TP) Sidondo III Village, Sigi Biromaru Sigi Regency and the analysis of soil chemical properties was carried out at the Laboratory of Soil Science Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. This research was carried out from August to December 2021. The results of this study show that the P-Total in cocoa fields which has very high criteria, namely at a depth of 80 cm with a value of 61.01 mg/100g and high criteria, namely at a depth of 120 cm with a value of 48.47 mg/100g. The criteria for P-Available on cocoa land have very low to low criteria. P-Available in cocoa fields that have low criteria are at a depth of 40 cm with a value of 17.59 ppm, and very low criteria are at a depth of 120 cm with a value of 8.84 ppm. Soil pH at a depth of 40 cm, 80 cm and 120 cm was in the slightly alkaline category. Organic matter at a depth of 40 cm has low criteria with a value of 1.58%, while depths of 80 cm and 120 cm have very low criteria. Soil texture at a depth of 40 cm has a clay texture class, a depth of 80 cm has a sandy clay texture class, and a depth of 120 cm has a sand texture class. Keywords: Cocoa Land, P-total and P-available.
