Abstrak
This study aims to determine the distribution of phosphorus (P) in cocoa fields at different depths at the Sidondo III Agricultural Technology Research and Assessment Installation. The research was carried out on a cocoa farm in Sidondo III Village, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Science Laboratory for about four-five months, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. The results showed the distribution of P-total at different depths, the highest value was obtained at a depth of 60 cm with a value of 64.75 mg/100 g and the lowest at a depth of 100 cm with a value of 54.49 mg/100 g which was in the high to very high criteria. The highest available P-value was obtained at a depth of 20 cm with a value of 19.99 ppm and the lowest at a depth of 100 cm with a value of 16.28 ppm on the medium criteria. Soil texture at all depths is in the sandy loam texture class. The highest soil pH value was obtained at a depth of 100 cm with a value of 7.33 and the lowest at a depth of 20 cm with a value of 7.06 on a neutral pH criterion. The highest value of organic C was obtained at a depth of 20 cm with a value of 1.73% on the low criteria and the lowest at a depth of 100 cm with a value of 0.18% on the very low criteria.
