Abstrak
This study aims to determine the vertical distribution of soil phosphorus (P) on oil palm land in Budong-Budong sub-district so that it can be seen at what depth of phosphorus (P) accumulates in the soil. This research was conducted in Budong-Budong District, Central Mamuju Regency and the analysis of soil chemical properties will be carried out in the laboratory of the soil science unit of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. This research was carried out from September to December 2021. The data analysis used using descriptive exploratory methods, namely describing each variable of soil chemical properties based on the results of analysis in the laboratory and in the field and supported by rainfall data for the last five years in the area. The results show that the distribution of phosphorus (P) in Oil Palm Land in Budong-Budong District has different values. The highest overall P-Total value is seen at sample point 2 with a depth of 0 cm or the top layer, which is 48.37 mg/100 g, and the lowest is at sample point 3 with a vertical depth of 60 cm, namely, 7.61 mg/100 g. . The data values for the 4 sample points in Figure 4 show very different data values, where sample points 2 and 4 have high P-Total levels at a depth of 60 cm. It is different for sample points 1 and 3 which have moderate P-Total levels. The highest available P-Available value overall is seen at sample point 2 with a depth of 60 cm, which is 32.93 ppm and the lowest is at sample point 1 with a vertical depth of 60 cm, which is .3.36 ppm. Keywords: Vertical Distribution, Phospohorus (P) Nutrients, Oil Palm.
