Abstrak The purpose of the study was to determine the right formulation concentration and storage time to maintain the population density of Bacillus sp. DB 12. Sampling of coconut water and tofu water was taken in West Palu District, Palu City. This study used a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor consisted of 6 treatments, namely K0: 100 ml coconut water, K1: 80 ml coconut water + 20 ml tofu water, K2: 60 ml coconut water + 40 ml tofu water, K3: 40 ml coconut water + 60 ml tofu water, K4: 20 ml coconut water + 80 ml tofu water, K5: 100 ml tofu water. Each treatment was repeated 5 times. The second factor is the comparison of the composition of the liquid waste and the length of storage. The second factor is storage time for 0.2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. Observational variables included morphological characteristics and population density of Bacillus sp.. The data for the first stage was analyzed simply by comparing growth patterns of Bacillus sp. while the second stage was further tested with 5% BNJ. The results of this study indicate that coconut water waste media with a concentration of K0: 100 ml coconut water is the best waste medium for the propagation of Bacillus sp. BD 12 Differences in nutrient content, pH and storage time at each concentration affect the bacterial population. |
