Abstrak
Celery is one of the vegetable commodities that is widely used for flavoring food and decorating dishes. Celery is a leaf vegetable that has many benefits, including being used as a complement to cooking and has medicinal properties. The purpose of this study was to analyze the interaction effect of cow urine POC concentration and growing media on the growth and yield of celery plants. analyzed the combination of soil, compost, and rice husk as the most optimal planting medium for the growth of celery plants in pots. and analyzed the effect of the optimal concentration of cow urine POC for plant growth and yield of celery. This research was conducted from March to June 2021 in Sidera Village, Sigi Biromaru Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) method which was grouped based on plant height, which consisted of 2 levels of treatment which were repeated 3 times to obtain 30 experimental units, level 1 of planting medium, namely M1 = Soil, compost, rice husk (1:1). :1) and M2= Soil, compost, rice husk (1:2:2). level 2 of cow urine POC, namely P0: no cow urine POC (control), P1: 20 ml cow urine POC/l water, P2: 40 ml cow urine POC/l water. The results showed that cow urine POC with cow urine POC concentration of 60 ml/l water gave the best results on the parameters of plant root length and plant fresh weight. For planting media, soil:compost:rice husk with a ratio of 1:1:1 gave the best results on celery plants. Keywords: Celery, cow urine POC, growing media, growth, yield.
