Abstrak National rice production still focuses on paddy fields, but every year paddy fields experience shrinkage due to the conversion of land functions into residential areas. The solution that can be done to increase rice production is that we can plant upland rice or fertilize. This study aimed to determine the best concentration of POC at each dose of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of local upland rice. This study was structured using a factorial randomized block design (RAK), the first factor using four doses of pearl NPK fertilizer: without NPK fertilizer, 100 kg/ha (equivalent to 25.2 g/plot), 200 kg/ha (equivalent to 50.4 g /plot), 300 kg/ha (equivalent to 75.6 g/plot) and the second factor consisted of three doses of POC: no POC, 1% POC (equivalent to 0.0252 ml/plot) and 2% POC (equivalent to with 0.0504 ml/plot) which was repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental plots. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the POC concentration of 2% with a dose of 300 kg.h-1 NPK fertilizer increased the growth and yield of local upland rice of dongan cultivars on the parameters of panicle exit age and harvest age. NPK fertilization with a dose of 300 kg.h-1 increased the growth and yield of local upland rice plants of dongan cultivars including plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, number of tillers, number of productive tillers, age of panicle out, age of harvest, number of panicle grain, panicle length , percentage of empty grain and production tons h-1. POC fertilization with POC concentration of 2% increased the growth and yield of local upland rice of dongan cultivars including number of leaves, leaf length, panicle exit age, harvest age, number of panicle grain, 1000 grain weight and production ton h-1.
