Abstrak
Mustard plant is a short-term vegetable plant that is very popular with the community, because green mustard vegetables contain vitamins A and C which are needed by the body. Cow manure is useful as humus and a source of macro and micro nutrients and can grow beneficial microorganisms for plant growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cow manure dose on pest population density, growth and yield of mustard (Brassica juncea L.). This research was conducted in Pebatae Village, Bumi Raya District, Morowali Regency. The study used a randomized block design method (RAK) with 6 treatments, namely without giving cow manure (P0), giving cow manure 10 tons/ha (P1), giving cow manure 15 tons/ha (P2), giving cow manure cattle 20 tons/ha (P3), giving cow manure 25 tons/ha (P4), giving cow manure 30 tons/ha (P5) and repeated 3 times so that there were 18 experimental plot units, each plot measuring 2.4 M2 and each plot contained 100 plants with a spacing of 20 cm2 . The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance. The results showed that the application of different cow manure had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh/dry weight of crown and fresh/dry weight of roots and treatment of 30 tons/ha was more likely to give maximum mustard production yields. and does not affect the population density of pests that attack plants Keywords : Cow Manure Compost, Growth, Brassica Juncea L
