Utomo Puluhulawa, (E 281 16 421). Identification of Agroclimates Suitability for Planting Rice and Secondary Crops Using the Oldeman Method. Supervised by Abd. Syakur. Agricultural activities are largely determined by the local climate. Climate has a very important role in planning agricultural production systems because all climate elements affect various physiological processes, growth, and productivity of the plant. This research aims to find out the suitability of agro climates using the Oldeman method for planting rice and secondary crops based on agroclimatic zones in Ampana Tete and Ampana city Subdistricts, Tojo Una-Una District. This research was conducted from September to November 2020. The research method was used monthly rainfall data from Uetoli Village, Ampana Tete, and Ampana Subdistricts, Tojo Una-Una District in 2009-2018 and data analysis of the Oldeman classification system. Based on the results of research on the identification of agro climates suitability for rice and secondary crops in Uetoli Village of Ampana Tete Subdistrict, it is only possible to plant rice once and once secondary crops. Meanwhile, in Ampana Subdistrict, it is only possible to plant secondary crops once.
