Abstrak ABSTRAK Selada merupakan jenis tanaman sayur daun dan sudah dikenal di kalangan masyarakat. Tanaman ini berasal dari daerah beriklim sedang yaitu Asia Barat, dan Amerika. Daerah penyebaran tanaman selada antara lain Karibia, Malaysia, Afrika, serta Filipina dan kemudian menyebar ke Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang kambing yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman selada. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen House Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tadulako Palu dari Bulan July sampai Bulan September 2021 dengan ketinggian 5-2.200 meter diatas permukaan laut. Rancangan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdapat satu faktor, yaitu dosis pupuk kandang kambing terdiri dari (Kontrol), : 5 t/ha, : 10 t/ha, : 15 t/ha, : 20 t/ha, : 25 t/ha. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Perlakuan 25 t/ha berpengaruh nyata terhadap pengamatan jumlah daun umur 14 hst, berpengaruh sangat nyata pada umur 21 hst, perlakuan 20 t/ha berpengaruh nyata terhadap pengamatan diameter batang tanaman selada umur 7, 14, dan 21 hst, perlakuan 15 t/ha berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang daun dan memberikan rata-rata daun terpanjang 16,79 (cm), perlakuan 25 t/ha berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap lebar daun dan memberikan rata-rata terlebar 14,11 (cm), perlakuan 25 t/ha berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap bobot segar tanaman dan memberikan rata-rata terberat 42,88 (g). Kata Kunci : Pertumbuhan, Selada, Pupuk Kandang Kambing. ABSTRACT Lettuce is a type of leaf vegetable plant and is well known among the public. This plant comes from temperate regions, namely West Asia, and America. The distribution areas of lettuce include the Caribbean, Malaysia, Africa, and the Philippines and then spread to Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of the right dose of goat manure on the growth and production of lettuce. This research was carried out at the Screen House of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu from July to September 2021 with an altitude of 5-2,200 meters above sea level. The design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) there was one factor, namely the dose of goat manure consisting of (Control), : 5 t/ha, : 10 t/ha, : 15 t/ha, : 20 t/ha, : 25 t/ha. The results of this study were the 25 t/ha treatment significantly affected the observation of the number of leaves at the age of 14 days after planting, a very significant effect at the age of 21 days after planting, the 20 t/ha treatment significantly affected the stem diameter of lettuce plants aged 7, 14, and 21 days after planting. treatment 15 t/ha had a significant effect on leaf length and gave the longest leaf average of 16.79 (cm), treatment 25 t/ha had a very significant effect on leaf width and gave the widest average of 14.11 (cm), treatment 25 t/ha had a very significant effect on plant fresh weight and gave the heaviest average of 42.88 (g).
