Abstrak Central Sulawesi province has a local onion, called the wakegi onion or the Palu Valley variety (Allium × wakegi Araki). One of the inhibiting factors in the cultivation of shallots in the Palu Valley is moler disease caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum. The purpose of the study was to analyze the ability of the application of Plant Growth Promoting Microorganisms (PGPM) to control Fusarium oxysporum on shallots (Allium × Wakegi Araki). The research was conducted at the Plant Disease Laboratory and Plant Protection Screening House, Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. The study began with arbuscular mycorrhizae in November 2020 to January 2021. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) method with six treatments and four replications and three treatment units as follows: soaking seeds using PGPM (R), spraying plants using PGPM ( S), seed soaking, crop spraying using PGPM and arbuscular mycorrhizal (RSM) application, seed immersion using PGPM and arbuscular mycorrhizal (RM) application, application (M) and control (K). The results showed that the RSM treatment was the best treatment in extending the incubation period. The fastest incubation period was experienced by the control (K) which was 4 days after inoculation while the longest incubation period occurred in the treatment of immersion, spraying and application of arbuscular mycorrhizae (RSM) which was 14 days after inoculation. RSM treatment is the most statistically efficient treatment in suppressing the incidence of moler disease with an average value of 50%. The RSM treatment was the best treatment on the growth and production of shallots in the Palu Valley in supporting plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers and tuber weight. |
