Soil invertebrates are important biodiversity that play a role in providing ecosystem services to soil fertility and can be used as indicators of soil quality. The amount and variety of soil invertebrates contribute to a variety of ecosystem services that have an impact on the sustainable functioning of natural ecosystems and the improvement of agricultural production. This research was conducted at the Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu, Central Sulawesi. This research took place in November 2019- January 2020. This research was conducted by identifying soil invertebrates using a binocular microscope equipped with a digital camera to view morphology. Land invertebrates collected will be identified up to the order level by using several key identification references.. The identification results were calculated using diversity index, abundance, and paired t test. The results of the identification of diversity of soil invertebrates based on the wealth of the order found were the order of coleoptera, araneae, haplotaxida, hymenoptera, psocoptera, hemiptera, dermaptera, lepidoptera, blatodea, oribatida, diptera, collembola, polydesmida, thysanoptera, psocoptera, hemiptera, dermaptera, lepidoptera, blatodea, oribatida, diptera, collembola, polydesmida, thysanoptera, diplocytes, spillopods, isopropods, acopods, isopods, calipodida, julidae, orthoptera and geophilomorpha. Based on species diversity index and abundance of invertebrates, the highest amount is found in soil compared to litter. Keywords: Soil Invertebrates,Litter,Soil,Oil Palm
