Abstrak
One of the inhibiting factors in the cultivation of shallot on the Palu Valley is moler disease caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum. The aim of the study was to compare the ability of Plant Growth Promothing Microorganisms (PGPM) treatment which was applied by immersion and spraying to control Fusarium oxysporum in Palu Valley shallots. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Diseases and Plant Protection Gauze House, Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. The research was started in November 2020 to January 2021. The research design used was a completely randomized design method (CRD) with four treatments and five replications and three treatment units as follows: soaking seeds using PGPM (R), spraying plants using PGPM (S) , Soaking seeds and spraying plants using PGPM (RS) and Control (K). The results showed that the hospital treatment was the best treatment in extending the incubation period. The fastest incubation period experienced by the penis (K) was 4 days after inoculation, while the longest incubation period occurred in the immersion and spraying treatment (RS) which was 12 days after inoculation. Treatment R is the most efficient treatment statistically in reducing the intensity of Moler disease attack with an average value of 32.04%. RS treatment is the best treatment for the growth and production of shallots in the Palu Valley in supporting plant height and tuber weight.
