| Abstrak This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of lettuce. This research was conducted in September – November 2020 in Ulujadi Sub-district, precisely in Btn Silae, Palu, Central Sulawesi. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) A total of 5 treatments were repeated 4 times each with 3 experimental units so that a total of 60 polybags were obtained. The application of liquid organic fertilizer to the soil was carried out 3 times, namely when the plants were 7 days old, 14 days old, and 21 days old. Data analysis To determine the effect of treatment in the experiment, the F test was carried out and then the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at 5% level was carried out if there was an effect of treatment in the experiment. The results of this study showed that the application of liquid fertilizer on lettuce leaves had a significant effect on plant height, leaf length and plant fresh weight. This shows a good plant response so that plants grow better and increase productivity. The concentration of (100%) significantly caused the plant leaves to be long and the fresh weight to be high, which was 49.6% higher than the control. The application of liquid fertilizer on gamal leaves with a concentration of C1 on lettuce plants made the leaves that were formed heavier, longer and wider which caused the production of lettuce plants to be better than other concentrations. |
