Abstrak
This study aims to determine the vertical distribution of soil potassium (K) nutrients in three different land uses, namely Cocoa Land, Deep Coconut Land and Dry Land. This research was conducted from June to August 2019, with the location of soil sampling in the village of Toribulu, Ampibabo District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi. Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Science Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. Field observations and sampling are determined based on the Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis using descriptive methods that describe each variable physical properties of soil and soil chemical properties based on the results of analysis in the laboratory and rainfall data for the last 5 years. The results showed that the vertical distribution of potassium (K) nutrients in three different land uses has values and criteria that tend to be the same. The results of each land use study also showed that the greater the depth of the soil, the lower the potassium (K) nutrients in the soil.
