| Abstrak Celery (Apium graveolens L.) is a vegetable plant that has long been known in Indonesia. Celery has many benefits. Celery leaves and stalks can be used as a mixture for soups and other soup ingredients. Celery can also be used as a biopharmaceutical plant, namely to treat various diseases such as fever, flu, digestive disorders, spleen and liver. The aim of the study was to obtain the best concentration of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) to increase the growth and yield of celery plants. The research is expected to become information material for farmers in an effort to improve the quality of celery plants by using liquid organic fertilizer. The research was carried out in Omu Village, Gumbasa District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi from February to August 2020. This study was compiled using a Randomized Block Design (RAK), one factor is the concentration of Liquid Organic Fertilizer. Consists of four levels, namely treatment without Liquid Organic Fertilizer, 1%, 3% and 5%. Thus there were 4 treatments, each treatment was repeated 4 times so that 16 experimental units were obtained, each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants so that in total there were 64 experimental units. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect, a concentration of 1% was the best concentration to increase the growth and yield of celery plants. This has a very significant effect on the observations of plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, root volume and plant dry weight. |
