Abstrak
This study aims to determine the physical properties of chili plants in Kamarora B Village, Nokilalaki District, Sigi Regency. The field research was carried out in Kamarora B Village, Nokilalaki District, Sigi Regency and continued with analysis at the Agricultural Soil Science Laboratory Unit, Tadulako University. The time of the study was carried out from October to December 2019. The method used in this study was a direct survey method in the field through soil sampling for analysis purposes including soil texture, soil density, soil porosity, soil permeability. As well as retrieval of primary data and secondary data. The results of the research on soil physical properties obtained soil texture in the same texture class, namely sandy clay with a sand fraction correlation coefficient of 0.29 (correlation or weak but definite), dust fraction 0.20 (very low or very weak correlation), clay fraction - 0 ,42 (significant correlation). The weight of the soil is the same, that is on the medium criteria with a correlation coefficient of 0.48 (a significant correlation). The porosity of the soil is also the same, namely in the poor porosity class with a correlation coefficient of 0.93 (very strong correlation). Soil permeability has criteria that vary rapidly as shown in sample 1 with a value of 20.21 cm/hour, sample 2 has a value of 33.04 cm/hour with very fast criteria, sample 3 has a value of 6.42 cm/hour with rather fast criteria, sample 4 has a value of 1.30 cm/hour with a rather slow criterion with a correlation coefficient of -0.21 (low correlation or weak but definite).
