Abstrak
Analysis of the vertical distribution of nutrients is an activity to see the condition of a nutrient in the soil that can be utilized by plants during their growth or production. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of phosphorus nutrients in the soil vertically starting from the soil surface to a depth of 100 cm in the Chili and Corn fields. This research was conducted in May 2019. This study used a survey method. Observations and soil sampling are carried out based on the consideration of researchers (purposive sampling). The results of the observation show that the vertical distribution of the nutrients Phosphorus (P-Total and P-Available) in the chili and corn fields continues to decrease at each depth of the soil. Highest P-Total Concentration is found in corn land 39.68 mg / 100g at ground level and decreased to 16.54 mg / 100g at 100 cm depth, whereas for chili pepper plants the total P-total concentration is 34.98 mg / 100g at surface and decreased to 11.41 mg / 100g at a depth of 100 cm. The highest P-available concentration in the chilli field was 14.29 ppm at ground level and decreased to 5.82 ppm at a depth of 100 cm, whereas for corn plants the P-available concentration was 14.72 ppm at the surface and decreased to 4.79 ppm at a depth of 100 cm.
