| Abstrak The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical characteristics of the soil on oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) plantation land in lariang village, tikke raya district, pasangkayu district. Agriculture, university of tadulako, palu. The research was conducted from july to august 2019. The observation parameters consisted of 4 variables, namely C-organic, P2O5 (mg.100gr-1), K2O (mg.100gr-1), CEC (cmol(+)kg-1). The results showed that the C-organic content in the soil, in the five sample blocks, yields were obtained with moderate criteria with values ranging from 2.25%-2.98%, P2O5 content (mg.100gr-1) in the soil, the results show that the fiv sample codes obtained results with moderate criteria with values ranging from 25.67%-39.45%, K2O (mg.100gr-1) in the soil, indicating that block 1 has a low criterion with a value of 18.24%, then the four blocks sequentially have medium criteria with a value in the range of 21.85%-23.95%, CEC (cmol(+)kg-1), In the soil, indication that the five sample blocks have medium criteria with a value of 18.6%-23.13%.
