Abstrak
The Moringa plant (Moringa oleifera L.) is a plant that is known as a multipurpose plant that has many benefits and is needed by the world. Moringa in Central Sulawesi is widely planted on the edge of rice fields and home gardens, with the aim of being a greening plant, or as an ingredient in processed vegetables and animal feed. The Moringa plant emerged because all parts of the Moringa tree, from the leaves, fruit, seeds, flowers, bark, to roots, have extraordinary benefits. Palu Valley is a location where Moringa is widely planted but has not been managed well and optimally, so this plant needs to be developed to get quality Moringa plants and aims to get Moringa that has the best seed viability. This research was carried out from April to May 2022, at the Seed Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu, Central Sulawesi. This research was structured using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). From the results of research on eight moringa accessions studied in the Palu Valley region, Central Sulawesi, it can be concluded that the K8 (Dolo 2) moringa accession gave the best results in the variables of germination capacity of 76.67%, growth potential of 94.17%, and germination speed of 2 ,4 days. Meanwhile, the Moringa K6 (Balaroa 2) accession also showed the best results in the germination variable of 75.83%, maximum growth potential of 91.50%, and germination speed of 2.4 days.
