Abstrak Plant growth and yield are also determined by growing environmental conditions, such as nutrient availability. Hara for plants is sourced from inorganic and organic compounds, and one of the sources of organic nutrients that are increasingly receiving attention used in plant cultivation is the Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) of Seaweed. This study aims to examine the effect of giving various concentrations of Sargassum sp. against the growth and yield of lettuce plants. The study was conducted in June to August 2022 at the Academic Kebun Screen House Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. This study used a complete random design of one factor with the treatment that was tried, namely the concentration of seaweed POC consisting of four levels, namely without giving POC; POC concentration is 1.5%; 3.0% and 4.5%. Each treatment is repeated five times, so there are 20 experimental units. The observed variables are plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight, length and root volume. The data obtained were analyzed using diversity analysis to determine the effect of the treatment and the results of the analysis showing the real or very significant influence followed by a honest significant difference in the 5% level in order to find out the difference in the average value between the treatment being tried. The results showed that the application of seaweed POC had a significant effect on the growth and yield of lettuce plants. The best growth and yield of lettuce plants is obtained at 3.0% concentration which is indicated by the highest number of leaves and the highest plant posture and root volume; And at this concentration also obtained fresh weight and dry weight of plants or root length which tends to be higher than other treatments.
