Abstrak
Mapping is the process of blueprints of a location on a sheet of paper at a conference on a scale. Nggawia village is one of the villages in the western Tojo sub-district of Tojo Una Una district in central Sulawesi, where the averages population of the villagers works as cacao farmers with an area of cacaco plantations recorded at the village office which is 195,25 Ha. The land area is owned by 6 cacaco farmer groups namely bina lestari, harapan jaya, kili-kili, monge, tunas baru, and tunas harapan. This study aims to map the distribution and to analyze cocao plantations using a geographic information system (GIS) approach in Nggawia village, western tojo disctrict, tojo una una district. The method used in this study is a direct survey method in the field by mapping or tracking using GPS Garmin 64s and then followed by data management using Arcgis 10.3. The results showed that the area of cacao plantations was 64,3 hectares, the area of cacao plantations that needed to be rejuvenated was 8,86 hectares, the area of cacaco which was often maintained was 36,87 herctares and less treated area by 6,68 hectares. For the area of cacao plantations which have produced > 1000 kg/year or 1 ton/year which is 4,32 Ha and those < 1 ton/year of 59,98 Ha. Keywords: Mapping, Nggawia, Cacaco
