Abstrak Soil physical properties are environmental elements that greatly affect the availability of water, soil air and indirectly affect the availability of plant nutrients. This study aims to determine the characteristics of soil physical properties on secondary forest land and agroforestry in Bahagia Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. The method used in the survey method, with the sampling technique using the purposive sampling method, observation and sampling were carried out at a depth of 0-20 cm, 21-30 cm, and 31-50 cm in the Secondary Forest and Agroforestry Land. The results showed the physical properties of secondary forest land had the lowest saturated water content (35.46%) to the highest (65.21%), the lowest field capacity water content (18.33%) to the highest (20.31%), soil texture classified as sandy clay loam, hydraulic conductivity classified as moderate, light soil volume weights, and C - Soil organic is very low (0.64%) to low (1.78%). While the physical properties of agroforestry land have the lowest saturated water content (37.38%) to the highest (50.11%), the lowest water content capacity (14.22%) to the highest (19.03%), the texture of the soil is classified as sandy clay loam, classified as moderate hydraulic conductivity, weight of medium soil volume, and C - Soil organic is very low (0.64%) to low (1.28%). Keywords: Physical Characteristics, Palolo, Secondary Forest, Agroforestry Sifat fisika tanah merupakan unsur lingkungan yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap tersedianya air, udara tanah dan secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi ketersediaan unsur hara tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan karakteristik sifat fisik tanah pada lahan hutan sekunder dan agroforestri di Desa Bahagia Kecamatan Palolo Kabupaten Sigi. Metode yang digunakan metode survei, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, pengamatan dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada kedalaman 0-20 cm, 21-30 cm, dan 31-50 cm pada Hutan Sekunder dan Lahan Agroforestri. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sifat fisik pada lahan hutan sekunder memiliki kadar air jenuh terendah (35.46 %) hingga tertinggi (65.21 %), kadar air kapasitas lapang terendah (18.33 %) hingga tertinggi (20.31 %), tekstur tanah tergolong lempung liat berpasir, konduktifitas hidrolik tergolong sedang, bobot volume tanah ringan, dan C – Organik tanah sangat rendah (0.64 %) hingga rendah (1.78 %). Sedangkan sifat fisik pada lahan agroforestri memiliki kadar air jenuh terendah (37.38 %) hingga tertinggi (50.11 %), kadar air kapasitas lapang terendah (14.22 %) hingga tertinggi (19.03 %), tekstur tanah tergolong lempung liat berpasir, konduktifitas hidrolik tergolong sedang, bobot volume tanah sedang, dan C – Organik tanah sangat rendah (0.64 %) hingga rendah (1.28 %).
