| Abstrak This study aims to determine the distribution of potassium nutrients in the soil vertically, and has been carried out in March to April 2019, the method used in this study is the survey method, while the observation and sampling of soil is done based on the consideration of researchers (purposive sampling) namely based on the type of land use. The parameters of the chemical properties analyzed include; Organic matter content, soil pH, Cation Exchange Capacity, K-Total and K-Available. Based on the results of the content of organic matter, the content of K-available in the two land uses has decreased from high to very low criteria with a value (1.25 - 0.05)% in chilli land and (0.85 - 0.18)% in corn field. In other words, the results of this study indicate that there is a decrease in potassium nutrient in the soil to a depth of 100 cm, it is suspected that this decrease occurs due to organic material which decreases according to its depth, and low cation exchange capacity causes the availability of potassium nutrients to decrease according to its depth. The land also has a neutral soil pH. |
