Abstrak

Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one type of horticulture, plant in Indonesia still relies on inorganic fertilizers to increase the productivity of cayenne. Provision of excessive inorganic fertilizers can cause reduced soil fertility. One of the efforts to increase the productivity of cayenne plants properly can be done by providing organic fertilizer, namely liquid liquid organic fertilizer which can be used as an alternative to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to determine the ratio of the variation of liquid organic fertilizer to the growth and yield of cayenne pepper. This research was carried out at of Academic Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, untad Central Sulawesi Province, Palu, from May to September 2018. the experiment in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 6 treatments namely 0?rtilizer , nasa 2 cc/L water, 4 cc/L water, 6 cc/L water, 8 cc/L water and 10 cc/L water, the treatment was repeated as many as 3 replications, thus there were 18 units of experimental. Observations were made on 6 growth parameters and results, namely plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, number of branches, number of fruits and fresh weight of fruit. The results showed an evident influence on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper by giving a concentration of 8 cc/L water liquid organic fertilizer the more kind anddiffer of not treating.
