Abstrak Cacao ( Theobrema cacao L ) is one of the types of plantation crops that have economic value that is high enough so that people are interested to be cultivated on a small scale or on a large scale.one of the main factor causing subobtimal production is the presence of pasts and diseases. This study aims to determine the intensity of attecks caused by P. palmivora cacao pod rot. This research is a direct survey of farmes’ cacao areal. This research was conducted in the area of Palolo, central Sulawesi province, Sigi Regency in December 2018 until completion. Based on the scale value of fruit damage (%) in the three study villages, it can be said that the fruit rot disease caused by P. palmivora fungus is almost all research sites infected by this fungus, with varying severity. The level of intensity of attacks (moderate) with a mean intensity of 44,25% to 59,63%, for the village of Langaleso the intensity of attacks (heavy) with a mean value of 56,44% to 64,81% this does not differ much whit the intensity of attacks that (severe) in the village of Baku-bakulu with an average value of 59,33% to 66,44% this show that the development of fruit rot is influenced by air humidity, temperature and rainfall. |
