Abstrak This study aims to determine the toxicity and inhibition of eating in S. exigua larvae after the application of srikaya A. squamosa leaf extract. Held from February to May 2018, in the Laboratory of the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. The sandwich method or feed dip method for the treatment of test insect feed (3rd instar larvae) consisted of 5 treatments: 0% (control), 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.4%, and 0.8%. There were four replications in each treatment, each repetition consisting of fifteen larvae. The results of observing eating inhibition were tested using regression analysis to determine the relationship of concentrations of srikaya leaf extract on larval feeding activity. For the observation of larval mortality were analyzed using the Hsin chi Probit analysis application. The results showed that srikaya leaf extract was toxic to the insect test larvae of S. exigua instar 3 and could cause mortality with LC50 was 0.32% and could inhibit the feeding activity of S. exigua larvae as indicated by an increase in inhibition of eating A. squamosa leaf extract along with with increasing concentration of treatment (y=1,0441+6,9471x, R=0,90, R2=0,81). |
