| Abstrak The study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of lemongrass leaf extract on growth and inhibitory feeding capacity of S. exigua larvae. This research was conducted from January to June 2018, at the Plant Pests and Diseases Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University, Palu. Application of lemongrass leaf extract was carried out using the dipping method with 5 treatments concentrations namely 0% (control), 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2%. The results showed that lemongrass leaf extract could inhibit the growth of S. exigua larvae as indicated by the higher concentration of treatment, the lower the growth of S. exigua larvae. The concentration that can reduce or inhibit the growth of 50% of the population of S. exigua is 1.5%. Lemongrass leaf extract can inhibit the feeding activity of S. exigua larvae which is shown by an increase in the inhibition of eating lemongrass leaf extract along with the increasing concentration of the treatment |
