Abstrak Palm oil solid waste is waste that can increase the carrying capacity of soil for the availability of organic matter and nutrient growth for sorghum plants. sorghum plants This research was carried out in the village of Taipa in North Palu Subdistrict and analysis of soil, fertilizer and yield was carried out in the Soil Science Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tululako, Hammer. Starting in May until June 2017. Using a randomized block design (rack) with 7 treatments, namely without the provision of solid or solid waste, palm oil solid waste 10 tons ha-1 (equivalent to 16 kg / bed), palm oil solid waste 20 tons ha-1 (equivalent to 32 kg / bed), Palm oil solid waste 30 tons ha-1 (equivalent to 48 kg / bed), Palm oil solid waste 40 tons ha-1 (equivalent to 64 kg / bed), The results of this study indicate that 30 ton ha-1 of oil palm solid waste has better potential for growth and yield of sorghum plants, the higher the dose of palm oil solid waste, the greater the growth and yield of sorghum plants.
