Entomopathogenic fungi are heterotrophic organisms that live as parasites on insects and also have pathogenic (disease-causing) properties in insects or pests. Soil is one of the places to see the presence of entomopathogenic fungi in nature. The purpose of this study was to determine what entomopathogenic fungi are found in cocoa plantations and liquefied soil. The research was carried out from July 2019 to November 2019 in the cocoa plantations of Loru Village and the liquefaction land of Jono Oge, Sigi Biromaru sub-district, Sigi district, Central Sulawesi. Identification was carried out at the Laboratory of Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. The two-stage hammer, namely the first stage is taking C cramerella pupae and soil samples from cocoa plantations and liquefied soil, taken to the laboratory, then the second stage of pupae infected with pathogens is isolated then observing what types of fungi infect the entomopathogenic fungi collected from the land Cocoa plantations and liquefied soil, with 18 isolates. From the identification results of entomopathogenic fungi, 3 genera were found, namely Aspergilus on cocoa plantations in 0-5 cm A layer of soil 0-5 cm A 5-100 cm B 5-10 cm B, 10-15cm C, and there were liquefaction soils. genus .ispergllus in soil layer 0-5 cm A Genus vertilicium on cocoa plantations in soil 0-5 cm B 0-5 cm C 5-10 cm A and 10-15 cm A, Beauveria on liquefied soil in cocoa plantations in soil layer 5-10 cm Keywords: entomopathogenic fungi, cocoa, liquefaction soil
