Abstrak Name of Researcher Arwansa No. Stambuk E 202 18 031, Research Title "SUPERVISION AND CONTROL OF FISHERIES RESOURCES IN ILLEGAL FISHING ACTIVITIES IN CENTRAL SULAWESI (Case Study at WPPNRI 713)" promoted by Novalina Serdiati and Dwi Sulistiawati. The potential of Fishery Resources in the Republic of Indonesia Fisheries Management Area (WPPNRI) 713 is very high. However, the contribution of these resources has not been managed optimally and is sustainable. This is because there are several issues that are the government's homework, including not yet optimal supervision and law enforcement in the field of fish resource management, fish resource management institutions that have not been formed, FAD management not yet optimal, and illegal fishing practices still rampant. The main objective of this study is to know the supervision and law enforcement in the management of fisheries resources in WPPNRI 713 Central Sulawesi Province against illegal fishing, participation of stakeholders in institutional formation, management of FADs and the use of fishing gear in accordance with laws and regulations. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection by means of sampling includes observation activities, in-depth interview techniques, questionnaires and documentation studies. Using Descriptive Qualitative data analysis method with percentage distribution tabulation. The research results show that the supervision of the management of fish resources in WPPNRI 713, especially in Sulawesi Province, has not been maximized. The intensity of surveillance is only 2 (two) times in one year and has not been able to reach areas 12 miles and above due to limited fuel and uncertain weather. This is also reinforced by the fact that violations that were processed by law only occurred in 2015. The existence of fisheries management institutions has not yet shown its contribution. The use of fishing aids (FADs) is not in accordance with the laws and regulations. While the use of fishing gear has shown compliance of around 50% more in accordance with statutory regulations. The conclusion of this research is that supervision of the management of fish resources in WPPNRI 713, especially in the province of Sulawesi, has not been maximized, the institutions have not been maximized, the FADs have not been arranged and while the use of fishing gear has shown compliance of around 50% more in accordance with laws and regulations.
