| Abstrak Haerul, D10223056. Handling Actions Against Demonstrators From A Human Rights Perspective, Supervisors, Abdulah and Syachdin. Everyone has the right to freedom of association, assembly and expression of opinion, but this must comply with the restrictions stipulated in the constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This article aims to find out how to deal with demonstrators from a human rights perspective. This research uses a normative legal research type according to the formulation of the problem to be solved. From the results of the discussion in this research, it was concluded that if the demonstration situation leads to/has become anarchic, the National Police as law enforcement officers have the right to take police action and this does not violate human rights. Repressive actions carried out by the police are guaranteed in the 1945 Constitution and are based on the principle of decency regulated in Article 49 of the Criminal Code.
