| Abstrak The primary objective of this research is (1) to examine and assess the impact of company age, profitability, and solvency on underpricing in manufacturing companies undergoing IPOs during the 2018-2022 period. Furthermore, the study aims (2) to investigate and analyze the influence of company age on underpricing in manufacturing companies that underwent IPOs between 2018 and 2022, (3) to scrutinize and evaluate the impact of profitability on underpricing in manufacturing companies that conducted IPOs during the same period, and (4) to explore and analyze the effect of solvency on underpricing in manufacturing companies that went public from 2018 to 2022. The research employs the purposive sampling method, and the data analysis utilizes the multiple linear regression analysis technique with SPSS version 25.0. The findings reveal that (1) collectively, company age, profitability, and solvency significantly influence stock underpricing in manufacturing companies going public, (2) company age, when examined individually, exhibits a positive and significant impact on stock underpricing in manufacturing companies undergoing IPOs, (3) profitability, when analyzed independently, demonstrates a negative and substantial effect on stock underpricing in manufacturing companies conducting IPOs, and (4) solvency, when considered in isolation, manifests a positive and significant influence on stock underpricing in manufacturing companies engaged in IPOs. |
