| Abstrak I Putu Edianto, Analysis of Factors Influencing the Interest in Using Electronic Payment Systems (2025–2026), Supervised by Tenripada This study is motivated by the increasing trend of digitalization in the financial sector, which has driven the use of electronic payment systems in Palu City. However, the specific factors influencing public interest in using these systems remain unclear. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the interest in using electronic payment systems, with independent variables including cost, perceived benefits, trust, ease of transaction, security, and service features. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique involving 90 respondents who are users of electronic payment systems in Palu City. The data analysis results show that all six independent variables have a significant simultaneous effect on usage interest. These findings indicate that all the examined factors play an important role in encouraging public interest in Palu City to adopt electronic payment systems.
