Abstrak
This study examines the effects of government capital assistance, financial literacy, and business innovation on the profitability of small and medium industries (IKM) in Palu City. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 37 IKM owners registered under the Palu City Trade and Industry Office in 2024, selected using purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted using SPSS. The results indicate that government capital assistance (? = 0.259, p = 0.031) and business innovation (? = 0.490, p = 0.042) have a significant positive effect on profitability, while financial literacy shows a positive but non-significant effect (? = 0.391, p = 0.105). Simultaneously, the three variables explain 73.3% of the variance in profitability (R² = 0.733). These findings suggest that non-cash capital assistance and business innovation are more decisive determinants of IKM profitability than financial literacy alone, underscoring the need for integrated policy interventions that combine capital support with innovation training.
