| Abstrak This study aims to determine the influence of future orientation, Job Prospects, and parental support on students’ decisions to choose the Management major at the Faculty of Economics and Business, UNTAD, in 2025. A quantitative descriptive method was used. The population consisted of new students at FEB-UNTAD, with a sample of 165 students selected using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 0.5%. Data were collected via a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS 26, including validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that future orientation, Job Prospects, and parental support have a simultaneous, positive, and significant influence on students’ decisions to choose the Management major. Partially, these three variables have a positive effect on the decision to choose a major, with a clear future orientation, promising Job Prospects, and strong parental support serving as the main driving factors in choosing the Management major. These findings indicate that students are more likely to choose a major that can support the achievement of their long-term career goals, taking into account strong external support from their parents. |
