Abstrak
Purpose: This study analyzes coffee bean inventory at Lujo Kopi using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to optimize inventory costs. Methodology: The approach used was descriptive quantitative, collecting historical data related to raw material demand, ordering costs, and holding costs over a one-year period. The analysis was conducted using the EOQ method to calculate the optimal order quantity, order frequency, safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost. Results: The results showed that the application of the EOQ method resulted in an optimal order quantity of 86 kg with an order frequency of seven times per year. Total inventory costs decreased significantly from Rp. 7.320.000 to Rp. 3.740.232. This cost reduction demonstrates the efficiency achieved through the EOQ method. Conclusion: The EOQ method has been proven to provide better cost efficiency and inventory management than previously used conventional methods. Limitations: This research was conducted on only one type of raw material and one UMKM, so the generalizability of the findings is limited. Contribution: This research provides practical insights for UMKM in managing inventory efficiently and encouraging the implementation of data-driven management.
