Abstrak THIS STUDY AIMS TO INFLUENCE WORK STRESS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFOFANCE AT THE MOROWALI REGENT'S OFFICE. THE POPULATION IN THIS STUDY WERE ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE MOROWALI REGENT'S OFFICE TOTALING 107 EMPLOYEES. RESEARCHERS USED SIMPLE RANDOM SAMPLING AS A SAMPLING TECHNIQUE. THE TYPE OF RESEARCERS USED IN THIS STUDY IS A TYPE OF RESEARCH WITH QUANTITATIVE METHODS. BASED ON THE RESULT OF RESEARCH THAT HAS BEEN CONDUCTED THAT WORK STRESSAND WORK ENVIRONTMENT SIMULTANEOUSLYAFFECT EMPLOYEE PERFOMANCE SIMULSTANEOUSLY,WORK STRESS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT MAKE A LARGE CONTRIBUTION TO VARIANS IN EMPLOYEE PERFOMANCE AT THE MOROWALI REGENT'S OFFICE. THIS IS EVIDENCED BY THE COEFFICIENT OF DETERMINATION (R SQUARE) OF 0,808, WHICH MEANS THAT 80.8% OF THE VARIATION IN EMPLOYEE PERFOMANCE CAN BE EXPLAINED BY THE RESEARCH MODEL,SUCH AS WORK MOTIVATION, LEADERSHIP, COMPENSATION ADN SO ON. THESE RESULT INDICATE THAT ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT NEED TO PLAY ATTENTION TO THESE TWO VARIABLES SIMULTANEOUSLY, BECAUSE THEY ARE INTERRELATED AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE ACHIEVEMENT OF EMPLOYEE PERFOMANCE WORK STRESS NEDS TO BE MANAGED PROPERLY AND THE WORK ENVIRONMENT NEEDS TO BE CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVED TO CREATE A HEALTY,PRODUCTIVE,ADN SUSTAINABLE WORK ATMOSPHERE.
